Stephen F Powers founded Steve's Automotive after a lifetime of mechanical passion that began in his father's garage. His skills expanded during his service in the United States Air Force, including nearly two years in Vietnam. After spending time stationed in Colorado, Steve developed a deep appreciation for the state and ultimately established Steve's Automotive in Downtown Longmont in 1994. Throughout his years of ownership, Steve built a reputation for exceptional automotive repair, outstanding customer service, and unwavering integrity. A proud supporter of the local community, Steve was active in the ColoRODans Car Club and sponsored numerous regional car shows. Although Steve passed away on September 10, 2023, his influence remains at the heart of everything we do as we continue serving Longmont families and automotive enthusiasts in his memory.

Phil's love for automobiles began with a 1964 Impala and eventually led him to pursue automotive training and a lifelong career in the industry. After graduating, he worked on everyday vehicles before discovering a deep passion for hot rods, muscle cars, and classic automobiles. More than twenty years later, that passion remains stronger than ever. Phil shared Steve's appreciation for preserving automotive history and caring for special vehicles that mean so much to their owners. As a part-owner of Steve's Automotive, Phil remains committed to doing things "Steve's way" by delivering quality workmanship, fair pricing, and exceptional service for both classic and modern vehicles.

Charles's journey with Steve's Automotive began as a customer long before he became an owner. After experiencing the shop's commitment to quality firsthand, he joined the team in 2010 as a service writer. Over the years, Charles became a familiar and trusted face for customers visiting the shop. Today, as co-owner, he continues to focus on providing honest communication, dependable service, and a welcoming experience for every customer.
